2012 Roster
We are pleased to unveil arguably our
most exciting roster in our history this year.
Breaking artists we are expecting major results for in
2012 include Jake Morley. Tom Moriarty, Djanan Turan,
Patrick Plunkett, These Reigning Days and Robert Thom.
Wet Wet Wet co founder Grame Clark joins the roster with
his debut album which is rivalled sonically by the
songwriting skill of Christiaan Webb (one half of the
Webb Brothers). Thomas Truax brings his blend of music
boundary pushing to the airwaves in 2012 and we expect
continued success for Jo Hamilton after her 2011
exploits on Radio 4 and across numerous national
features.
The Lights continue there upward rise and expect another
stunning single from Damn Vandals. Tearing up the live
circuits will be Rebel Territory, Shoot the Dead, The
1004's and Centre Excuse.
2012 also see's us handle the Beverley Festival and
Burton Agnes festival once more.
More acts will be announce through the year.
2011 Campaigns
2011 has been a great year for our acts and our company and highlights include TV appearances with ITV's Daybreak, roster appearances on Soccer AM, two major live events at a sold out Arc in Stockton as we as a showcase gig at the BBC Club last month in front of numerous 2 + 6 radio producers. The live radio highlight though was arguably Jo Hamilton's appearance on Clive Anderson's Radio 4 show. The 2011 company hilight was being nominated for an AIM Music Award alongside the likes of Huw Stephens, Craig Charles, Tom Robinson and winner John Robb for the Indie Champion Award. Our press and radio relationships were strengthened further with radio support for artists on our roster from shows on the Radio 1, Radio 2, 6 Music, Q Radio, NME Radio and many more. 2011 was our most successful year with print media to with reviews and features in the likes of Uncut, Clash, Artrocker, NME, Maverick, Sunday Times, Record Collector, Daily Telegraph, The Observer, Guardian and many, many more.
2010 Campaigns
2010 saw us secure some major radio
and magazine coverage for many artists on our roster.
Major magazine features and reviews where secures for
Redtrack, Blabbermouth, Isa & The Filthy Tongues,
British India, Natalie McCool, Battlefield Band, Jo
Hamilton, Diarmaid O’Meara, Stanley Odd and many more.
Widespread national radio on Radio 1, 2 and 6 was secured for most artists
on our roster culminating in a Christmas set for Hafdis
Huld live on the Radcliffe & Maconie show in Dec 2010.
Results are too numerous to mention here but local,
online and national radio was secured around the UK and
beyond for our roster.
We also organised the Save 6 Music gig at 93 Feet East.
Headlined by Goldheart Assembly and featuring Ian McNabb
the night was a sell out and raise the profile of the
campaign nationally.
2009 Campaigns
2009 was our most successful year as a
company with some amazing results in the
written press as well as
national radio.
Major radio and press coverage was secured for Isa & The
filthy Tongues, Gabby Young, Wayne Hussey. Wishbone Ash,
The Lancashire Hotpots, Trashcan Sinatras and Diarmaid
O’Meara.
Beverley Festival once again was sold out and we also
continued our partnerships with specialist acts such as
Battlefield Band, Karl Culley, Jarmean and Colin
Pollock. Indie success’ were
too many to list but 2009 was a breakthrough year for
Isaacs Aircraft, Shabby Rogue, Limozine, Volcanoes and
Jarmean? Whilst breakthrough acts such as Alexander
Price, Senadee, Stanley Odd, Jo Hamilton and Ben Dalby
continued to flag up in the media world.
2008 Campaigns
2008 was the most successful year yet for the Manilla PR
roster. National radio play was secured for Severe Zero,
LizzySpit, Dr Slaggleberry, Lack of Afro, Stephen Dale
Petit, John Askew, Diarmaid O’Meara, Burgaboy, Revere,
Tiny Spark, Cutaways, Nephu Huzzband, Smudge and Guns on
the Roof. Our festival portfolio was proud to contain
once again a sold out Beverley Festival and other
notable events included the In The City weekend in
Manchester.
Thank you to all our artists who helped shape a
successful year in print and radio and a special thank
you to Lack of Afro who secured air play on every
national BBC radio station.
